Welcome to the Legion!

Reading and hearing all the Star Wars: Episode VII rumors are an occupational hazard for me. I’ve long since gotten over that. It’s still a nice surprise at the moment I hear them, even if it’s not when I first watch the film. I’m saying this because spoilers enhance things for some people. Others hate them with the fire of a thousand suns. If you’re part of the first group, read on, though be aware that none of this has been confirmed by Disney or Lucasfilm. If you’re part of the second one, by all means stop right here.

J.J. Abrams Twitter note

Okay, first off, the folks over at Latino Review have revealed that the villains will be the Inquisitors, and the main one will wear — seriously, stop if you don’t want to know — a black robe, have red eyes and half his face will be metal. Yes, half robot, according to our friend Devin Faraci at Badass Digest, who says that this is the hand in the J.J. Abrams Twitter pic. The Inquisitors will be loosely based on the ones from the Extended Universe.

In addition, the site has confirmed the rumor that Daisy Ridley and John Boyega’s characters are going to find a hand (Luke’s hand, of course), that will set them on a journey to find Luke, who is a captive. Then we’re getting a flashback, which will include Darth Vader, and Carrie Fisher’s real-life daughter Billie Lourd as a young Princess Leia.

One more thing. Indie Revolver has given us a look at the new Stormtrooper helmets, which Devin says he’s seen. For more info on all of this, click the links! Star Wars: Episode VII will hit theaters on December 18, 2015!
