Welcome to the Legion!

1You know, it’s wonderful to be able to report things like this. It gives me hope. 15-year-old British schoolboy Ed Holtom wrote a letter to the Telegraph in response to Emma Watson’s incredible speech at the United Nations on feminism and her HeForShe Campaign. It ran this past Sunday and has been praised widely on social media.

“If we want equality, it will take more effort than paying women the same as men, or giving women equal opportunities,” he said. “We must stop pressuring each other to fit stereotypes which more often than not leaves us feeling repressed and unable to express ourselves. We must not let gender define us.”

Legion, if you see stories about allies in the fight for equality, please send them our way. I love reporting on good things, too!
