Welcome to the Legion!

Screen Shot 2014-09-26 at 11.56.43 AMRussian Cosmonaut Elena Olegovna Serova is the first female Cosmonaut to visit the International Space Station. So, why is she still getting asked about stupid crap that has nothing to do with her job? Because reasons, I guess. Sort of like the Telegraph’s “Mother of Three Poised to Lead BBC” headlines. No one says that about a guy. Or maybe it’s the same reason that Fox News thought it was a great idea to disrespect a female soldier leading the airstrike against ISIS by calling her “Boobs.”

Sigh. So, during the press conference, her fellow astronauts heading to the ISS were asked about their mission. She was asked about wearing makeup and how her daughter would deal with her absence. And, of course, her hair. Want to watch her call this person out? Skip to 30:30 to see the question and her response.
