Welcome to the Legion!

There’s another villain about to storm into Central City, but this one has blood ties to a big baddie that continually harasses the Flash. DC Comics is bringing the Golden Glider off the pages and onto television screens next year, and they have an actress already set for the job. Comicbook.com reports that actress Peyton List has been cast to play the Golden Glider, another antagonist hellbent on stopping the Flash in his tracks.

If you’re familiar with the Flash comics, then you know her as the cousin to Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller). Naturally that means she inhibits a little bit of the same icy powers as her chilly relative. In CW’s The Flash the Golden Glider is Captain Cold’s younger sister, creating some wonderful tension between Cold and Flash (Grant Gustin) when events start transpiring later on in this series. Read on for an additional snippet of information on the new villainess:

Whereas her older brother is reserved and calculating, Lisa is impulsive and anxious to prove herself as an ideal fit for Cold’s criminal gang. Seductive and sinister, Lisa will cross paths with Cisco which raises even more problems for the Scarlet Speedster.

Golden Glider/Lisa Snart is set to make her television debut in the upcoming episode ‘Rogue Time.’ Be sure to watch the latest episode of The Flash when it returns to television on January 20, 2015.

  • Lisa Snart is Leonard Snart’s sister in DC’s comic book universe as well so clearly the apparent ” reviewer” has no familiarity with the decades-established source material.

    • First off, thanks for the correction. I was misinformed from some research while writing this article, so that bit of information is much appreciated.

And yes, I’m not the biggest Flash reader, but there’s no need to be rude sir.
