“He had killed man, the noblest game of all, and he had killed in the face of the law of club and fang.”

The episode opens with a group of men and boys going on a camping retreat loaded into a van. The campers are told to reconnect with the past and embrace their true natures. They then start trying to catch a rabbit with their bare hands. At night as they eat the rabbit, the leader of the camp gives a talk about being Wesen and the importance of the first woge. Not terribly long after, somewhere near the campsite, a man trying to hitchhike gets attacked.

In the meantime, Nick, Hank, and Monrosalee discuss Juliette’s transformation and imprisonment. Nick reports that she claims to like her new powers. Monrosalee are out of ideas for how to help her, prompting Rosalee to suggest asking Adalind for help, reasoning that she might consider this a way to get back at Juliette and therefore willing to help. Rosalee later visits Juliette in jail. Juliette holds Rosalee partially responsible for her transformation, but rather than blaming her, Juliette thanks her, stating that she is “on top of the world.”

Sean is in his bedroom when he starts having chest pain and bleeding again. Getting a drink of water, he suddenly finds himself in public near a fountain, possibly having traveled through space. When Sean got to his office he asks for reports on various crimes around the city. When he receives a report of an assault that took place near where he ended up, he seems to suspect that he might have been unknowingly involved.

At the crime scene, Wu briefs Nick and Hank. They find a footprint which causes makes them all think it might have been Wesen-related, and the team decides to bring in Monroe for his tracking skills, who agrees to help out

At the hotel, Kenneth is speaking on the phone with the king, when Adalind walks in. She asks whether Sean will be killed. Kenneth informs Adalind that Juliette was arrested, and insists that they take advantage of this opportunity to get Juliette to betray Nick. Kenneth also reveals that he is aware that Nick is the father of Adalind’s second child, and threatens to reveal this information to Juliette in order to get Adalind to cooperate.

Back at the crime scene, Monroe tells the detectives that it appears to have been a hunt. Their investigation leads them to Iron Hans Ranch, the Wesen camp, run by Albert [father], Todd [son], and Maggie [daughter] Bowden. After all the Wesen woge, Albert reveals that he has heard about Nick and also Monroe. Albert and Todd agree to take the others to inspect the campsite. The Bowdens admit to hunting and killing the rabbit, but deny anything else. Albert asks Monroe to come back and talk to the youngsters.

In her jail cell, Juliette thinks back to her encounters with Adalind, while telekinetically splatting insects, when she is informed that somebody paid her bail.

Outside the prison Kenneth introduces himself to Juliette as she leaves the jail. He tries to convince her to help him find Diana. He also informs her that Adalind is carrying Nick’s child. When Juliette expresses disbelief, he invites her to seek him out at his hotel (the Deluxe) when she’s ready.

At the precinct the detectives interview all the families who were at the camp while Monroe tries to smell the culprit. Adalind arrives at the station and informs Sean that she’s pregnant with Nick’s child. Sean calls Nick into his office, where Adalind tells him that he is the father and asks him to protect her from Juliette. She volunteers that there may be a way to suppress the Hexenbiest in Juliette, making her more “normal.” She goes on to explain that they would need the flesh of a Hexenbiest that has been dead for some time – her mother. Adalind further reveals that the baby is a boy, and that he is kicking. She asks Nick to feel the baby, but he backs away. Undeterred, she places his hand on her stomach.

Juliette arrives at the station and runs into Nick and Adalind on their way to see Rosalee. She sarcastically congratulates them both and states that she should have finished Adalind off when she had the chance. Nick positions himself between the two women, which Juliette interprets as him choosing Adalind over her. Juliette leaves. Nick brings Adalind to the Spice Shop and explains to Rosalee that the baby is his. Rosalee agrees to help.

In the meantime, Juliette meets with Kenneth at the hotel. She is upset that Nick protected Adalind. Kenneth asks her again to help him find Kelly and Diana, and this time she agrees.

Monroe talks to Maggie, who seems excited by the fact that he used to hunt people. Hank calls Nick to inform him there has been another murder.

At the campsite, Albert introduces Monroe to the children. Monroe gives a talk about Wesen power and responsibility, the conflict between being a killer and honoring life, and the importance of not letting the animal within get the best of them. As the hunt starts, Monroe woges and joins in until he is attacked by woged Maggie, who tries to get him to hunt humans with her. When he refuses, she calls him “weak” and runs off.

Monroe tells the others that Maggie is the killer as Maggie stalks a camper and attacks. The detectives find Maggie, who was stabbed by the camper. She tells her father and brother that she did it because they never paid attention to her. She raises a feminist theme, wishing that she could have been seen for who she really was, rather than “just a girl.”

Cut to the trailer. Juliette lights a candle and looks around the contents of the trailer. She rips up the Hexenbiest book, begins smashing things, and sets the trailer on fire. She calls Nick and tells him he might want to check on the trailer. When he asks her what she did, she responds that she doesn’t have anyone to keep her warm now.
