Welcome to the Legion!

Carrie Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd spoke a little bit about the role she’ll be playing in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and in doing so, kills a rumor that’s been going around for some time. Lourd spoke to Interview magazine about her television debut in Ryan Murphy’s FOX series Scream Queens and revealed a tiny tidbit about her role.

She told the magazine, “I’m not Princess Leia’s Daughter.” Okay, cool. But just look…

Seriously, I’m kidding. She doesn’t need to be Leia’s daughter. It’s just an awesome pic to look at. Anyway, Lourd talked about acting as her “secret dream,” saying, “My whole life, they said, ‘Do not act. You need to get a college degree,'” she said of her parents. “I went to performing arts camp, secretly taking classes – I got the lead in the musical, and my dad was like, ‘Wait, I thought you were going here for music and knitting.’ ”

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters on December 18.
