Welcome to the Legion!

Well, well! Look what we have here! It appears that Covergirl is teaming up with Lucasfilm to create a line of makeup for the upcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. These images appeared on Rebel Scum and it appears that we’re getting a line of makeup inspired by the film this Fall.

Covergirl has done this before when it put out a line of Capitol Couture makeup for The Hunger Games. (Weird marketing for that one, considering that the Capitol isn’t exactly a good thing. The whole Subway debacle went right along with it.) This time around, however, it seems pretty cool to me. It appears that this site: http://www.covergirl.com/starwars will be up and running at some point, as it’s featured on the packaging.

It appears that British-born designer Pat McGrath will be involved with the line, which is expected to include nail polish, mascara and lip gloss. There will be a dark and a light side, and six cosmetic designs:  The Dark Side (Apprentice, Stormtrooper, and Chrome) and The Light Within (Nomad, Droid, Sage). The mascara sticks, 10 of them to be exact, have quotes from Star Wars films.

Check out the shots below. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will hit theaters on December 18.

Thanks to Legion writer Caprice Conley for the find!
