For those of you waiting anxiously for AMC’s The Walking Dead spinoff Fear the Walking Dead, here is some news you’re going to be happy about. Creator Robert Kirkman just did an interview with Fangoria, where he revealed when we’re going to see the new show. According to the interview, the show will debut on AMC this coming August. “I’m really excited for FEAR THE WALKING DEAD to debut in August and for people to see just what we’ve done,” Kirkman said.

The show stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey and will give us a look at the beginning of the zombie plague. Are you as excited as I am? Of course you are! We’ll be chatting with producer Gale Ann Hurd as the show gets closer. Stay tuned!
