Welcome to the Legion!

Jurassic World pratt

Remember how all the dinosaurs in Jurassic World are supposed to be female? Plot point? “Clever girl?” This goes all the way back to Jurassic Park. It’s part of the story. Yeah, well, Hasbro decided to describe them as male in all their toy descriptions. You know, because boys won’t play with icky girl dinosaurs. Sort of like how they kept Gamora off of Guardians of the Galaxy merchandise and Black Widow off of Avengers shirts and backpacks. Oh, and how they replaced her on her own vehicle with Captain America and Iron Man.

Well, now they’re saying that it was all a big boo-boo. At least the dinosaurs. According to Yahoo, “[A spokesperson] said the switch ‘was an oversight’ and that Hasbro is ‘in the process of updating the language with the correct information.'”

Glad to hear it.
