On Most Craved, my co-hosts Silas Lesnick from ComingSoon.net and William Bibbiani from CraveOnline and I take on the biggest entertainment news of the week. This time around, we talk all about the newly cast Spider-Man, the relative newcomer Tom Holland, who was today confirmed to make his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War. The stand alone Spider-Man film will be directed by Jon Watts, who is also yet to be a household name. He’s the director of the upcoming Cop Car, which early reviews have loved. We also talk about the decision to cast Spider-Man white, and how diverse the Avengers may end up being after Civil War.
Silas and William are big fans of the NBC show Hannibal, which was just canceled three seasons in. I have yet to watch, but after hearing these guys talk about it … gush, actually … I’m absolutely on board to watch. It may be on its way out at NBC, but we also discuss the real possibility of it getting picked up by a streaming service like Amazon, Netflix or Hulu.
Sadly, we remember Oscar-winning composer James Horner, who brought us soundtracks like Titanic, Star Trek 2, Avatar and Braveheart. Horner was tragically killed in a plane crash on Monday. Rest in peace, sir. You will be well remembered.
