Welcome to the Legion!

One of our favorite ladies here at Legion of Leia (and our very first profile) is Ashley Eckstein. You know her as the voice of Ahsoka Tano on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. You also know her amazing line of geek clothing for women and girls, Her Universe. We caught up with Eckstein on the floor of San Diego Comic-Con and got a chance to chat with her about Star Wars: The Force Awakens, what’s next for Ahsoka Tano, the new awesomeness from Her Universe and fan girls in general.

Check out the video below. It cuts out right at the end. I blame the con. Here is what she had to say about fan girls:

“The fact that girls are even more accepted, the fact that there’s a fashion show at Comic-Con – so much has changed. It’s because girls like you and Amy Ratcliffe and Jill Pantozzi, everyone is just speaking up and saying hey, pay attention to us. It’s pretty awesome!” Ashley, as someone who has done so much for fan girls around the world, we salute you!
