Welcome to the Legion!

Whoa. SO MUCH STUFF from J.J. Abrams! Where do we even begin?!

Let’s talk about this whole commercial thing first: So, no more trailers. We have all been aware of that since the most recent (and FREAKING EPIC) trailer was released.

However, in an interview with ExtraTV at the 11th Annual GLSEN Respect Awards, the interviewer asked Abrams what would be coming next:

“We’re getting very close,” Abrams said. “The next thing is really going to be the movie.”

She then asked if anything new would be released:

“Well there will be commercials but no more trailers,” Abrams said.

Cool! So we will definitely be seeing Star Wars: The Force Awakens commercials! Not sure if the commercials will show us anything new or not.

My guess would be that they will probably be commercials showing what we have already seen in the trailers. But who knows?! Maybe they’ll throw in a few new things just to make fans go even more berserk!

Abrams then goes on to say some incredibly interesting things about the “evil” Luke Skywalker theory. And it sounds like he’s basically saying that theory is wrong. (But that’s just my interpretation!)

Abrams also discusses how he feels about some of the (*cough* embarrassingly ridiculous *cough*) claims of discrimination that are being spewed out about Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And it’s great!

You will definitely want to check out the ExtraTV video below:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released in theaters on December 18, 2015!
