Welcome to the Legion!

The SXSW Festival came under heavy fire recently after canceling two panels that were to deal with the problems of cyber-bullying and various harassment online. People where quick to point to this mistake, suggesting how it sends an unintentional message that condones such activity.

But the multi-media festival regrouped and have a response to this mistake. SXSW has announced plans for their Online Harassment Summit. The event will have an all-day schedule with various panels and speakers. Though the cancellation of the initial panels were done for the safety of speakers and attendees, SXSW has been working with authorities and security experts to create a safe environment and proceed with these new plans.

SXSW also announced that they will live stream the entire summit for free to the public. Head over to their page to check out the full list of events and speakers.
