Welcome to the Legion!

BuzzFeed dropped the trailer and poster for the third Divergent film. Tris (Shailene Woodley) and friends hop over that big crazy wall surrounding Chicago, only to discover that they’ve actually been in The Truman Show this whole time. Tris finds out she’s the only one who has healed from the toxic environment outside Chicago and has further responsibility thrust upon her. Another fun fact, in this world Chicago is referred to as a safe place. The previous two films tell us that is anything but true.

Either way, it looks like it will be in the vein of the previous films–a healthy dose of action packed, YA dystopia. The third installment of the franchise is based off of the bestselling books written by Veronica. In addition to stars Shailene Woodley, and Theo James, the cast includes Naomi WattsJeff Daniels, Miles Teller, Zoë Kravitz Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Keiynan Lonsdale and Jonny Weston.

  • Haha… People are funny. I see all this talk about how the Divergent series is a “waste of time” and “pointless to watch” and a “ripoff of Hunger Games” etc… Wanna know what is REALLY a waste of time?? Talking about a movie that you find completely uninteresting/pointless. That tells me that your lives are even LESS interesting and a lot more pointless than a trailer for an uninteresting movie haha. And to all the “ripoff of Hunger Games” comments… Hunger Games is basically a rip off of the original Mad Max movies if you wanna go the “ripoff” route. Anyone can find similarities between movies and then say that they’re all ripoffs. It takes a truly genuine individual to find the unique qualities in everything. There you go +Batman. Oh… And your name is just a ripoff of Superman haha. Oh yeah, and DAMN YOU ALL for making me defend Divergent!!!
