Variety exclusively learned that Nickelodeon will be making a new Hey Arnold! TV movie!

For those of you who don’t know, Hey Arnold! was a crazy-popular Nickelodeon show from 1996-2004.
The show was about Arnold, a quirky kid with a football shaped head who lived with his grandparents.

According to Variety, “the TV movie will feature a storyline that picks up where the original series ended and resolves unanswered plotlines—including the whereabouts of Arnold’s parents…”

Fun news for those of us who grew up with the series!

“Kids who grew up on these characters are now of the age that they are having kids and families themselves,” Russell Hicks, president, content development and production, for Nickelodeon Group, told Variety. “Our library has come to fruition and it’s time for it to start coming back to life.”

Very cool and so true! Parents who watched this series will have a blast sharing it with their kids.

What do you think about this movie, Hey Arnold! fans?!

Nickelodeon hasn’t announced when the TV movie will be released yet.
