Welcome to the Legion!

According to EW, we’re going to get a lot more time travel in Game of Thrones Season 6 in the form of  flashbacks and flash forwards. As you know, Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) will be back this season and they’ll be a big part of his storyline.

“Previously Bran’s seen tiny glimpses of future or past but never has he been very much in control in the situation,” Hempstead-Wright told the site. “Now we’re given looks into very important events in the past, present and future of this world and Bran is beginning to piece them together like a detective, almost as if he’s watching the show. Equally, he’s now discovering how crucial he could be in the Great War. It’s quiteInception-y.”

Sounds pretty cool to me. I had some serious issues with last season, rape scene notwithstanding. Outside of that, I felt like the season was frankly boring. From what we’ve been hearing, this one is promising to be anything but that, with reports of a look at what may be the fan theory L+R=J. Head over to the site for more info. Game of Thrones Season 6 will return to HBO in April of 2016.
