At the 88th Academy Awards last night, Daisy Ridley said some very exciting things about Star Wars: Episode VIII!
While talking to MTV on the red carpet, Ridley said Star Wars: Episode VIII is “such a good story” and Luke Skywalker is “so cool” in the film!
“Me and Mark [Hamill] have been rehearsing a lot, and it’s really amazing,” Ridley told MTV News. “When we went back to Skellig to do the opening of [Episode] VIII, it was so crazy doing the same scene with a different crew of people. He’s amazing to rehearse with, and I’m very excited to be doing the rest of the stuff.”
“It’s such a good story,” Ridley also said. “Seriously. Luke is so cool in this one. Really.”
While she didn’t give away much, we did learn that Star Wars: Episode VIII will begin EXACTLY where The Force Awakens ended!
Also, it’s fun to learn that Ridley loves the story and how “cool” Luke Skywalker is. – Star Wars fans all know that Episode VIII will focus on Luke! Personally, I am hoping for a strong and intense yet calm and incredibly Force sensitive Luke. It’s going to be amazing to see what Ridley means by “cool” Luke when Episode VIII hits theaters!!!!
