Welcome to the Legion!

We here at Legion of Leia are big fans of Maisie Williams! Doctor Who, Game of Thrones! She’s just too awesome!

So I’m bummed to say that, as reported by Vulture, Williams has officially stated that she will not be returning to Series 10 of BBC’s Doctor Who.

Williams played the role of Ashildr/Lady Me/Me on the hit series but now says that she will be moving on to other projects:

“Everyone’s hyping about it, which is very exciting, but I guess that’s more of a publicity thing,” Williams told Vulture. “But no, I’m not going to return, I have a lot of other really exciting projects lined up instead.”

With Williams and Jenna Coleman now both definitely gone, the Doctor is going to be pretty lonely!!!

So what do you all think?! Who should join the cast for Steven Moffat’s final season of Doctor Who?! Leave comments and let us know!

Doctor Who‘s Series 10 will air on 2017.
