Welcome to the Legion!

Well, the Oscars are over and Twitter is abuzz with hate/love/tears for the In Memoriam segment/betting pools. The thing about this year is that things were actually addressed. Consent and sexual assault were taken on by Vice President Joe Biden and a stage full of survivors and an incredible performance by Lady Gaga. Host Chris Rock didn’t back down for a second, talking about diversity, though the kid joke was terrible. The short documentary A Girl In the River is actually changing Pakistani laws about honor killing.

Mad Max: Fury Road took home a ton of awards, proving that a sci-fi film starring a woman is a viable option. Are you listening, Hollywood? We want to hear from you. What did you think of the awards? Are Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay the freaking cutest thing ever? Let us know in the comments.
