The Little Prince has been dropped by Paramount a week before release, according to IGN. The film was expected to open in theaters on March 18, but this is no longer the case. The studio confirmed the move to the site but provided no details. The film was directed by Mark Osborne and starred the voices of Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, Paul Rudd, Marion Cotillard and Benicio Del Toro. The CGI animated film was based on the classic 1943 story.

It’s possible that the film will be picked up by another distributor. We’ll keep you updated with any developments.
