Game of Thrones fans are in for a really cool treat. HBO, Facebook, and Oculus collaborated with Elastic, the designers of the show’s iconic opening title sequence, to create a 360° VR view of the opener. You can watch it here.
This new version includes all the classic, moving layouts of the various locations featured on the show, but they’re rendered to be viewed and explored in whatever angle your little heart’s desire. It’s immersive VR allows you to fly up and over the Wall and through King’s Landing without running the risk of meeting a White Walker or a spiteful Lannister. While we are given a new perspective of the two countries, we unfortunately aren’t given any clues to Jon Snow’s fate.
