Welcome to the Legion!

Feast your eyes on the first Doctor Strange poster! Marvel released the above image in advance of star Benedict Cumberbatch’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Cumberbatch will debut the first Doctor Strange trailer tonight on Kimmel, and given the film’s impressive roster of stars, I’ll be tuning in. Not only does Doctor Strange star the mighty Cumberbatch, it also features Mads Mikkelsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams and Tilda Swinton.

I mean, you really cannot go wrong with that lineup. Not to mention all the nerdy-nerd connections those stars have! Among their other work, Mads starred as our fave cannibal in Hannibal and as Bond villain Le Chiffre, Ejiofor was in Serenity and The Martian (and Love Actually!), Rachel McAdams is our favorite Mean Girl as well as Irene Adler in the Sherlock movies, and SWINTON has the most insane resume of all of them. I know Marvel is attempting to take over the world, but if they are gonna put two of my internationally dapper loves, Benedict and Mads, in a movie together, than I welcome our new supreme overlords.

Kimmel airs tonight on ABC at 11:35pm EST.

(Shoutout to Heather & Jessica of Go Fug Yourself for coining the single, capitalized SWINTON. Y’all do the Lord’s work.)
