Welcome to the Legion!

vixen

Vixen actress Megalyn Echikunwoke was seen on stage while the CW made their upfronts announcements on its DC Comics TV shows. Could this be that Vixen will become a recurring character in the Berlanti-verse?

There have been no formal announcements one way or the other. In fact, the presentation may simply have been giving a respectful nod to Echikunwoke’s involvement in CW Seed’s Vixen, a series of animated shorts. On the other hand, the actress’ presence on stage may indicate that the network plans to give Vixen a more prominent role later on down the line.

Let’s hope so. Echikunwoke’s appearance on Arrow this season was great.

I doubt she’ll be given her own show on the CW, but that doesn’t mean she can’t pop up on another show, such as Legends of Tomorrow, which is down a team member. She’d be an excellent addition to the Waverider.

So far the biggest announcements from CW’s upfronts are confirmation of a four-part crossover between Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, and Arrow, and that Supergirl will continue its Monday night time slotLegends is reportedly already on the hunt for new crew members, so character announcements may not be far off.
