As I am writing this post, Grant Gustin, star of the CW‘s The Flash, just revealed the title of the season 3 premiere episode on Twitter: “Flashpoint.”
Here’s how it went down:
This. Is. Huge.[easyazon_link identifier=”1401233384″ locale=”US” tag=”legoflei07-20″]Flashpoint[/easyazon_link] kicked off DC Comics‘ rebooted universe, the New 52. In the event, Barry Allen found himself in a world that was completely changed from what he was familiar with. Wonder Woman and her army of Amazons were at war with Aquaman and his Atlanteans, reducing most of Europe into rubble. Instead of Bruce becoming Batman, he was the one who died — Thomas Wayne became the Caped Crusader, and Martha went psychotic and turned into the Joker. The trigger? Barry travelled back in time to save his mother’s life.
Sound familiar? It is if you watched the season 2 finale of The Flash.
A lot of us Flash fans saw this coming a mile away, but to have it confirmed…
