Welcome to the Legion!

Supergirl may not have had the best ratings on CBS, but it’s found a new home on the CW. It’s really where it belongs; in the hotbed of TV superheroes. One more of those superheroes has been added to the lineup. Supergirl has cast Everybody Wants Some! star Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent, a.k.a. Superman, according to Deadline. No longer a mere shadowy presence, we’re actually going to get to see him in the super flesh.

“Greg [Berlanti] and I have wanted to work with Tyler for ages, so this worked out perfectly because Tyler is Superman,” said Andrew Kreisberg, executive producer of Supergirl. “We are so thrilled and humbled to add another amazing actor to the legacy of this iconic character.” The last time we saw Supes on TV was when Tom Welling played him on Smallville. We want to know your thoughts on this. What do you think of the casting? How much of him do you want to see? Let us know in the comments.
