Fans of The Guest know that Dan Stevens is a badass. Fans of Downton Abbey probably had reason to like him, too. Now Stevens is about to jump to comic book adaptations with FX and Marvel Television’s Legion.

Man, this thing is all over the place. Elements of romantic comedy, sci-fi, conspiracy thriller, it even seems about to turn into a musical at one point. Legion looks like it will playing around quite a bit with tone, which seems fitting to it’s title character.

Legion is diagnosed with dissociative personality disorder, and his multiple personalities each have their own unique powers, making him an incredibly powerful and, therefore, unstable mutant.

This sounds pretty awesome, and it looks great too. If only there was a possibility Dan Stevens would encounter his father, Patrick Stewart. If only…
