Welcome to the Legion!

It looks like Jim Gordon is going to have to deal with a lot of chaos on the upcoming season of Gotham.

In an exclusive provided by The Hollywood Reporter, we got to see the official Season 3 Poster of Gotham. The tagline this season is ‘Mad City’ and based off of the promotion and the events that took place in the finale of Season 2, I can’t say its not going to be true this season. In the promotional poster, Jim Gordon is holding a crystal ball that contains all of the various villains he’ll possibly be fighting this season. And, boy, are there a lot of them.

Inside the crystal ball we see Robin Lord Taylor as the Penguin, Jada Pinkett Smith reprising her role as Fish Mooney, Cory Michael Smith playing Edward Nygma. Camren Bicondova is returning as Selina Kyle, Erin Richards is playing Barbara Kean, Jessica Lucas is playing Tabitha Galavan, and Drew Powell is portraying Butch. We also get another look at a newly grown-up version of Maggie Geha’s Poison Ivy.

Season 3 is going to be all about the villains and how integral they are the makeup and atmosphere of Gotham City. The executive producer John Stephens explains further about the villains here:

“In season three you’re really going to see how villains have taken up residence inside the city,” executive producer John Stephens said. “The villains have become more and more a part of the fabric of the city of Gotham. It’s less and less a police show like it was in season one. It’s a natural continuation of that in season three.”
