Earlier today, Henry Cavill, the Man of Steel himself, teased a black costume for Superman in the upcoming Justice League. This would fit in with the comics, in which he had to wear a black suit in order to help him recharge his powers due to the significant loss solar charge in his fight with Doomsday. Now, granted, this could just be a black and white filter to throw us off, but I really hope not.
In Justice League, an inspired Bruce Wayne, played by Ben Affleck (Mallrats), sets out to find allies against an incoming foe. Wayne is eventually joined by Diana Prince/Wonder Woman played by Gal Gadot (Furious 7), Arthur Curry/Aquaman played by Jason Mamoa (Game of Thrones), Barry Allen/The Flash played by Ezra Miller (Suicide Squad), and Cavill’s Clark Kent/Superman. Directed by Zack Snyder (Watchmen) with a screenplay by Chris Terrio (Argo), Justice League is set to release in theaters November 17, 2017.
If you haven’t seen it already, the trailer is amazing. You can check it out below.
