I didn’t know what life was until I saw this news this morning.

It was announced today by Mixi that a Marvel Tsum Tsum game app was launching today in North America. The game features Marvel heroes and villains in the adorable Tsum Tsum style. The game features Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk, Ant-Man, and many other superheroes. On the villain side of things, we will be able to see Loki, Ultron, Green Goblin, and Ronan the Accuser.

The game play seems fairly simple. You connect three or more of the same Tsum Tsum characters together by tracing lines on the screen, which I can confirm is difficult if your screen is immensely cracked like mine,  and eliminating them. The more of these characters you connect and eliminate, the more of a special effect you’ll see in the game. You can gain skills by eliminating your characters, which is cool because massive powerful skills and attacks to use when you’re playing a superhero game just make the experience more awesome.

The game also includes battle levels. In the battle levels the game asks users to drain an enemy Tsum Tsum’s health by creating matches on the board. You can play as a single player or you can utilize the multi-player system option which will allow you to compete in two-player battles against other players.  In these battles, two players work together to defeat a single opponent which makes it feel kind of like an actual superhero battle. Yay for teamwork!

The game is now available as a free download in the United States and Canada on the Apple App Store and Google Play. You can make in-app purchases to boost the game experience. There are plans to start launching the game in other countries throughout the year, so stay tuned if you are outside of the majority of North America.

What do you think about this news? Do you like Tsum Tsums? Do you like more Marvel merchandise? Let us know in the comments below and make sure you check out the launch trailer.
