Welcome to the Legion!

jumanji

Today we have our first look from the set of Jumanji. Stars Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson posted a pic which include themselves, as well as Karen Gillan and Jack Black. Production has begun and Hart posted this on his Instagram account:

Day 1 of shooting “Jumanji” is officially in the can. We had a amazing first day. The chemistry & energy of our cast & crew was beyond amazing!!!! This movie is going to be dope as hell….Can’t wait to get back to work tomorrow @therock @karengillanofficial & jack black!!!#Jumanji

Johnson posted the same pic but with more information on his Instagram account:

EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK:#JUMANJI The journey continues..
“Moose Finbar” (Kevin Hart).
“Ruby Roundhouse” (Karen Gillan. Her jungle wardrobe will make sense when you know the plot. Trust me;).
“Professor Shelly Oberon” (Jack Black).
“Dr. Smolder Bravestone” ’cause well.. he smolders.

Hard workin’ and FUN first day of shooting in the jungle with this talented and crazy motley crew. Jack is brilliant, Karen is bad assery, Kevin is sharply hilarious and I smell good.

Extremely hard trying to keep a straight face in these scenes. Too funny. We’re makin’ a good one. More to come..#JUMANJI #WishFulfillment#TheGameThatPlaysYou

  • Regardless of the cherished source material I’ll give it a shot. Dwayne Johnson movies tend to have some great entertainment even if the writing is weaker than usual (Looking at you Journey 2: The Mysterious Island).
