It’s our 50th episode, which goes live on the 50th anniversary of Star Trek! It’s a coincidence, but it’s certainly a lovely one! This week, my co-hosts Anastasia WashingtonSabina Ibarra and I welcome author Cecil Castellucci to the podcast! Cecil has written some amazing books including Moving Target: A Princess Leia AdventureTin StarBoy Proof and more, as well as comics, including her upcoming Shade: The Changing Girl.

We’re giving away a signed copy of Tin Star, so RT the podcast to win! (U.S. residents only.) This week, we’re talking about Cecil’s work, Carrie Fisher’s advice column and the just-proved-to-be-false rumor about Angela Lansbury on Game of Thrones. We go deep into our issues with the Ready Player One film and our love for Rebecca Ferguson. Then there is that lost Doctor Who episode that BBC is turning into an animated special!

You can check out Cecil’s website here! Follow her on Twitter @MissCecil and on Instagram @CecilSeaSkull. Check out the trailer for her new book below, as well as a video of “Belly Up to the Bar, Boys” which the episode will explain.

May the Force be with you!
