Oliver Queen cannot be stopped this season and the new extended trailer today proves it.

Today The CW uploaded an extended trailer titled ‘Can’t Be Stopped’ onto Youtube. As to be expected by any Arrow related piece of footage, there is tons of action. We see Arrow taking the time to train a whole new team of fighters, some of which do not look all that reliable if a helping hand is needed. In the clip we are introduced to one of the trainees known as Wild Dog, who’s known in the comics for his ferocious methods of action.

We are also reminded in the trailer that the tragic events of Season 4 have left a significant impression on Oliver Queen. We hear in the clip a conversation between Oliver and Felicity discussing the events of last season. She’s trying to snap him out of whatever mental stupor he’s in, telling him that, “[F]or the past five months, you’ve been waiting for things to go back to the way things were,” which seems to be a perfect normally way for a person to react after bad juju goes down. I can’t fault him for not getting over things, but it’s probably time for the guy to move on.

And move on he does, but not without getting into mischief. At the end of the clip, we see him captured by some baddies. However, knowing the Arrow, he’ll get out of it.

The official synopsis for the show is as follows:

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. Oliver returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs of his family and fighting injustice. As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen (Willa Holland), former police captain Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) and brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum).
