Empire has revealed quite a few surprising covers in honor of Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them.  However, today, they outdid themselves by releasing information introducing a video cover that is reminiscent of the magical newspapers we’ve heard about and seen in the live-action Harry Potter films.

The cover of this magazine literally moves in the style we’ve seen in the Daily Prophet. However, Empire has embraced the New York version of the UK’s Daily Prophet, aptly taking on the title of The New York Ghost.  Now the question is, “What exactly is being featured on this cover besides awesome Harry Potter fangirl inducing squeals of happiness?” Empire explains below:

The cover plays two videos: one featuring a behind-the-scenes tour of the movie and a chance to hear from its stars, including the movie’s director David Yates and its writer, producer and creator J.K. Rowling herself. The second video shows the film’s latest trailer.

For those of you like me who are not so technologically savvy, Empire made sure to include a handy short video on how exactly the videos will work on the new limited edition cover. Please check it out below!

There are only 5,000 copies of this particular cover that have been made. It will only be sold at exclusive Sainsbury stores, so maybe try to see if you can acquire one online because this grocery store is definitely not here in the States. Unfortunately for those of us in the United States, we won’t be able to purchase them in stores, but it is super cool that they created something so magical.

And, upside, we can still purchase the regular Empire magazine that still features a Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them cover.

What do you think about this lovely video cover? Are you bummed that there won’t be a chance of us getting it over here in the States? Are you secretly playing the video like I am and pretending that you have a copy in your hands? Let us know in the comments below.
