In an exclusive brought to us by Variety, newcomer Letitia Wright has been cast in Marvel’s Black Panther in an unknown role. Marvel has not yet commented on who she has been cast as. She will be joining Chadwick Boseman (T’Challa/Black Panther), Michael B. Jordan (Erik Killmonger), Forest Whitaker (Zuri), Lupita Nyong’o (Nakia), and Danai Gurira (Okoye).

Letitia Wright got her start in acting on TV in BBC’s Doctor Who, Cucumber, and Chasing Shadows. She will have a role in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming film adaptation of Ready Player One. She can be seen in her most recent film, the crime drama Urban Myth.

The current synopsis for the Black Panther film is below:

T’Challa, the new ruler of the advanced kingdom of Wakanda, must defend his land from being torn apart by enemies from outside and inside the country.
