We were already expecting to see a bunch of new things  being released surrounding Netflix’s upcoming Marvel series Iron Fist. Now that Marvel’s Luke Cage has been released, the next series to receive all the attention has to be Iron Fist (unless Marvel’s The Punisher completely distracts us from Iron Fist, which is perfectly acceptable). Now that NYCC is completely underway, we’ve started getting new goodies to look at.

Today Marvel released a new poster for the upcoming Iron Fist TV series. They revealed it via their Facebook page, which you can click onto here, and it is definitely a different style than what we’ve seen. The poster was created by Marvel artist Joe Quesada. In the video you can see that the poster has gone through several revisions until, finally, reaching its final product. Danny Rand is shown channeling his essence before launching into what is supposed to be an attack.

The official synopsis for the show is below:

Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.

via Netflix

he series will star Finn Jones as Danny Rand aka Iron Fist. Starring alongside him will be Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, and Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum. Continuing the habit of crossovers between the Marvel shows, Carrie-Anne Moss will be reprising her role from Marvel’s Jessica Jones .

The series will premiere on Netflix on March 17, 2017. Supposedly we will be getting a look at a new trailer after Marvel’s Iron Fist panel at NYCC tomorrow, October 8. So keep your eyes peeled!!!
