Welcome to the Legion!

Game-of-Thrones-season-6-7

Now that we’ve entered mid-November, it’s time to get started with all the awards show news. Today, the Television nominations for the 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards were announced.

In what shouldn’t be that much of a surprise, HBO is leading in the nominations, having an estimated 22 nominations. However, this does not mean that they are a shoo-in for the wins this year. In my opinion, this year has probably been one of the better years in terms of the rich variety for the general audience to choose from. This was also noted by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) president Joey Berlin, when asked to comment on the nominations:

“In this golden age of peak TV, viewers have an embarrassment of riches to choose from every day and night,” said BTJA president Joey Berlin. “The Critics’ Choice Awards are chosen to help people find the best of the best. We can’t wait until December 11 to celebrate with all these incredibly deserving nominees.”
