This week in the world of DC Super Hero Girls the action is on! There will be laser beams, homing devices, and a fight against an oddly adorable shark humanoid creature. Yes, I find sharks adorable. So be it!

Today on the DC Super Hero Girl website, a new animated short was released focusing on the ever loving and ever innovative Bumblebee. Bumblebee has to create weapons that will be useful to use during a battle. If they aren’t good enough, she’ll fail the exam. Along the way, Frostbite pokes fun at her inability to create weapons that amplify her powers which, notably, is not really the point of making weapons in the world in the first place.

Personally, after watching the short, I think it teaches as an important lesson. Sometimes what we create is not about us, but for other people entirely.

Also, in DC Super Hero Girls news, they just released the third chapter in the current time travelling arc for the DC Super Hero Girls digital series, which you can check out in its entirety here. In this new chapter, Beast Boy gets some quality bonding time in with his dinosaur homies. While he’s doing that, Batgirl and Harley Quiin must put aside their differences and figure out how to fix the time machine and find their lost teacher before more shenanigans ensues. We don’t want more shenanigans after all.

Check out the exclusive look of the chapter on the DC blog here. The new chapter is written by Shea Fontana and illustrated by Agnes Garbowska. If you want to download the new digital chapter, it is available to download via the DC Comics App, Read DC Entertainment’s websiteComiXology’s website, iBooks, Google Play, Kindle Store, Nook Store, and iVerse ComicsPlus. You have no excuse to say you can’t download because it is literally available EVERYWHERE!

Take a gander at the new short below and let us know what you think!
