Monday nights are for random ear worms.
Han Solo’s getting his own movie, and there have been chatter (all unconfirmed) about making one for Obi-Wan and Boba Fett respectively. Y’know what I don’t hear as often, or at all? Princess Leia getting her own movie. For as bad-ass as she is in A New Hope and beyond, you have to wonder what it took for her to get to that point. I already have the perfect actor to play the younger (youngest?) version of the rebel princess from Alderaan: Millie Bobby Brown. Eleven from Stranger Things.
Look! Millie’s likeness to the young Carrie Fisher is uncanny! She also resembles Natalie Portman who played Padmé in the Anakin Skywalker trilogy. Bonus!
So to recap: Princess Leia needs a movie — possibly in a coming-of-age while fighting a rebellion type movie. Millie Bobby Brown should play Leia.
Your move, Hollywood. Make it so. Please and thank you.
