With the official election day literally around the corner on November 8, it is imperative that we all get out there to vote. But, as we all know, sometimes voting can be difficult. For those of you who work a gazillion jobs like me, there’s the whole ‘I don’t have time’ excuse, especially when work places don’t always let people have the day off to go vote. Then there’s the whole fact that this particular election has been a cluster, but we won’t get into that entirely.
Voting is extremely important, but it is a right that a lot of people don’t take advantage of. Without properly voting, we may not be able to make the changes that we seek.
This is where Ms. Marvel comes into play to try to get ya’ll to do the voting thing.
Today, Marvel Comics is proud to debut an exclusive first look to MS. MARVEL #13, spotlighting Ms. Marvel’s quest to encourage everyone to vote this Election Day. This particular issue is written by G. Willow Wilson and the artwork is done by Mirka Andolfo.
The general synopsis for this particular issue is below:
MS. MARVEL #13 finds Kamala Khan at the start of a new chapter in her life and as she begins this journey of discovery, Ms. Marvel takes to the streets of her home town, Jersey City, to encourage all its residents to summon their own super power – the right to vote!

Personally, I think this is a great medium to try to reach out to others to vote. It’s light hearted, an element which has been completely eradicated from this particular election season, and reflects a feeling that I think we all have when we become of age to vote – hope!
