The CW has been heavily promoting their upcoming crossover episode between SupergirlThe FlashArrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Today they released their crossover poster for Supergirl. Since next Monday’s Supergirl episode “Medusa” is what starts things off with this epic crossover event, the poster’s release makes sense.

Supergirl’s “Medusa” episode is described below and provides much needed insight into what prompts the crossover event:

“Eliza (guest star Helen Slater) comes into town to celebrate Thanksgiving with her daughters. Alex (Chyler Leigh) decides it’s time to come out to her mother; Kara (Melisa Benoist) is shocked when Eliza suggests Mon-El (Chris Wood) has feelings for her, and Winn (Jeremy Jordan) and James (Mehcad Brooks) consider telling Kara the truth about the Guardian.

Meanwhile, CADMUS unleashes a virus that instantly kills any alien in the vicinity so Kara enlists an unexpected ally – Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath). The epic superhero crossover kicks off tonight when Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) and Cisco Ramon (guest star Carlos Vandes) seek Kara’s help with an alien invasion on their Earth.”

After the Supergirl episode airs, the following episodes that premiere next week from The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legend of Tomorrow all focus on the alien invasion. Heck, all of the episodes are collectively titled “Invasion”. It is going to be a very epic crossover that you should not miss.

Supergirl’s “Medusa” airs Monday, November 28. The Flash‘s “Invasion” airs Tuesday, November 29. Arrow‘s “Invasion” airs on Wednesday, November 30. And the concluding episode of the crossover will be on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airing, Thursday, December 1. All four episodes will air on The CW.
