After finding out yesterday that Warner Bros. was going to drop a new trailer for next year’s Wonder Woman movie, we have been waiting on pins and needles for its release today. The new trailer has just been posted on Warner Bros. Youtube page and it is truly beautiful and majestic like all things associated with Wonder Woman.
This new trailer follows the previous trailer in being full of promise. So far, the film matches the more upbeat tone normally associated with Wonder Woman. One of the biggest concerns I’ve had, as well as other fans of the infamous heroine have had, was that Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment would continue with this ever present dark narrative that has been heavily involved with their recent batch of DC films. Yes, I’m referring to the Superman films and that disappointing Suicide Squad film.
Seeing this trailer definitely makes me think that Warner Bros. is finally getting their stuff together when it comes to their final products. Given how long we’ve been waiting for a Wonder Woman film, there is a lot riding on this to be a success. No pressure or anything! Nope!
The official synopsis of the Wonder Woman movie is below:
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
