Scott Buck, executive producer and showrunner for Netflix/Marvel‘s Iron Fist, will be serving the same role on the upcoming new ABC series The Inhumans.

ABC announced last month that it gave the green light to The Inhumans television series with the first two episodes premiering together in IMAX theaters next September 2017 before airing on TV for the fall.

The Inhumans is based on the Marvel comic book series created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. It features around a race of superpowered beings that were a result of experiments done on ancient humans by the Kree. Typically, The Inhumans centers around the adventures of the Inhuman Royal Family.

The television series is produced by Marvel and ABC Studios. This will be ABC‘s third Marvel series after Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter.

Prior to Iron Fist and The Inhumans, Buck worked as executive producer on Dexter on Showtime. His other series credits include Six Feet Under and Rome.
