Welcome to the Legion!

We’re back! Not only are we finally home after the holiday break, this is my first podcast back in months. Surgery sucks, you guys. On this week’s Legion of Leia Podcast episode 56, my co-hosts Anastasia WashingtonSabina Ibarra and I welcome The Werewolf Whisperer authors Bonita Gutierrez and Camilla Ochlan. I dare you to listen to the description of this series and not immediately download the kindle version. Triple dog dare! If you’re into urban fantasy and awesome female leads, you’re going to be hooked! (It’s on my Kindle right now.)

This week we also have something sad to discuss. As you know, we lost the amazing Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia in Star Wars. Though I’ve spoken about it in a number of places, I haven’t had a chance to chat with the ladies about what broke all of our hearts. We talk all about what she meant to us. Legion, if you have memories you haven’t already shared in our comments section (and I’ve read them all), please post here.

On a much lighter note, we’re talking about the new films coming out in 2017 and the nightmare fuel that is the Demogorgon from Stranger Things and the behind-the-scenes video that was released. Listen in and let us know your thoughts.
