Welcome to the Legion!

In an exclusive from Entertainment Weekly we discovered that, for those of us non-Sports inclined people, we now have a reason to watch the Super Bowl this Sunday. Netflix will be airing a teaser for their upcoming second season of Stranger Things.

As was revealed in teasers past, the second season of Stranger Things will be taking place in 1984. As evidenced by the still featured above from the Super Bowl ad, the gang of misfits certainly seems very excited for the Ghostbusters movie that came out in ’84. It is fitting.

Stranger Things season 2 takes place a year after the events that took place in the first season and all may seem calm and well for now. However, as was revealed by executive producer Shawn Levy, evil never sleeps and these kids are going to have to deal with a lot next season:

“The Demogorgon was destroyed but evil wasn’t.”

Season 2 of Stranger Things will premiere this year on Netflix.
