Alien: Covenant Red-Band Trailer Delivers All the Nopes!

Earlier this week we got a good and scary look at the first trailer for 20th Century Fox’s Alien: Covenant. Today they released a red-band trailer that shows a little bit more blood than the original, which gives us a better idea of how gruesome the new installment in the franchise will be.

I, for one, am truly terrified to go see this, which isn’t surprising since it has a completely different tone to Prometheus.

The official synopsis for the film is below:

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender), the synthetic survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The mysterious world soon turns dark and dangerous when a hostile alien life-form forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival.

The film stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Billy Crudup, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Carmen Ejogo, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Callie Hernandez, Demián Bichir and Benjamin Rigb.

Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant will be released in theaters on May 19, 2017. What do you think of the red-band trailer? Do you even think it was worth it for Fox to release one? Let us know in the comments below.
