Bask in the Glory That is the New Wonder Woman Poster

Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment released the new Wonder Woman poster. You can take a full look at the poster below!

Star Gal Gadot also revealed the one-sheet via Twitter with the caption: “Believe in Wonder. Here it is, the new poster for #WonderWoman!”  The poster shows our hero, with her shield and her sword, taking the knee on a beach — most likely at Themyscira — the middle of a striking sunset Sun soaks the landscape as she crouches with sword and shield in hand.

Wonder Woman is very different in tone and style than Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad,” said Deborah Snyder in response to fans’ concerns that Wonder Woman would match the same gloomy tone set by Zack Snyder in his past superhero films with Warner Bros.

“Fans of the DC universe know that there are characters, like Batman, who are darker, but there are others like Wonder Woman, who are hopeful, optimistic leaders, and the tone of this film represents that,” Diane Nelson, president of DC Entertainment and resident of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, added.

Wonder Woman serves as an origin story for our favorite Amazon princess warrior, and takes place during World War I. The standalone film also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Elena Anaya as Maru/Doctor PoisonLucy Davis as Etta Candy, and David Thewlis. Patty Jenkins is directing.

Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017.
