The New Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailer is Here!
The second trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming just released today, and it gives us a little more insight into the plot as well as our big villain played by Michael Keaton. You can take a look at the trailer below.
Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
All Peter Parker wants is to be a hero like Iron Man and the Avengers, but he’s got a long way to go before he can prove himself to be a worthy enough hero to take on the big ones. Unfortunately, Peter’s not so keen on taking baby steps as Tony Stark advises, and it lands him into big trouble.
After a thwarting what could have been a major disaster, Tony repossesses Peter’s swanky, high-tech suit. But Peter’s in the stink now with Vulture (Keaton), and he’s gotta have a costume to hide his identity.
I love that this version of Peter Parker isn’t as fashion savvy as his previous movie iterations. He is, however, resourceful enough to (as Tim Gunn would say on Project Runway) “make it work.”
Spidey swings into theaters July 7, 2017.
