Check Out the First Official Trailer for Blade Runner 2049

“There are still pages left in this story.” We’ve waited 35 years for a Blade Runner sequel, and it’s finally on it’s way. The first official trailer for Blade Runner 2049 debuted after a live Facebook Q&A on Monday. You can watch the trailer below.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

The original Blade Runner premiered in 1982, and has since become an important film in science fiction. Since its theatrical debut, several versions of the film have been released. The most preferred is the Final Cut, which gives a more complete vision from what Ridley Scott originally had for the film.

From executive producer Ridley Scott and director Denis VilleneuveBlade Runner 2049 also stars Ana De Armas, MacKenzie Davis, Sylvia Hoeks, Lennie James, Carla Juri, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, and Jared Leto.

Blade Runner 2049 premieres October 6, 2017.
