At the MTV Movie & TV Awards Sunday night, stars Tom Holland and Zendaya, introduced a new Spider-Man: Homecoming clip, which shows that it may not be the best idea to entrust a kid with a super-cool secret. You can catch the video posted below.
The new look shows Peter Parker, still wearing his Spider-Man gear, sneaking back into his room without alerting his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei). Unbeknownst to him, his buddy Ned (Jacob Batalon) is quietly sitting in Peter’s room…witnessing everything. Peter pleads with Ned to keep his superhero identity a secret, to which Ned replies with a kind of “I don’t know if that’s even possible, man” answer.
We also get another look at Zendaya’s character, who plays at being suspicious of Peter’s leaving abruptly without giving her a reason. “What are you hiding, Peter?” she asks. “I’m just kidding. I don’t care.”
Spider-Man: Homecoming was directed and co-written by Jon Watts. The film also stars Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Donald Glover, Tyne Daly, and Robert Downey Jr.
