Star Wars Minute Podcast: Chris Radtke Takes Over With Noah Segan

Hey Legion! Happy Star Wars 40th anniversary! Today we have a guest podcast from my good buddy Chris Radtke. He’s a frequent guest on the podcast Star Wars Minute with Alex Robinson and Pete the Retailer. They dissect each minute of the films and as he told me, he wasn’t happy about taking on the prequels. However, he took over the podcast during “Radtke Takes Over” week with all sorts of debates, like yesterday‘s where he and Jordan Hoffman (Legion, you should be following these gentlemen!) debated Attack of the Clones vs. Star Trek Nemesis, deciding which is worse.

In this episode (which we’re publishing with permission), Radtke chats with actor Noah Segan (Looper). You may not know, but Segan is BFFs with director Rian Johnson, who is directing The Last Jedi. They get into how Noah and Rian met, and tells the story of sitting on Rian’s porch, talking about whether or not he should take the job.

For those of you who don’t know (though I’ve told the story on a dozen podcasts), Radtke and I went to high school together, did musical theater together and he is the reason I do this for a living. He called me up one day when he was working for UGO.com, and asked me if I’d like to interview Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. (There were a few more steps, but that was basically what happened.) I started working for UGO and the rest is very geeky history.
